Sony’s PS3 is planning to make a comeback due to slashing prices in February - November. The reason for the slashes is because the Xbox 360 & the Nintendo Wii both sold more then itself. Also if you have a psp you can connect it to your ps3 and play your original playstation games straight on your psp.It seems the much-rumored PSP Phone really is in development, and the 80GB PS3 model appears to have been officially discontinued.In retailers across the U.S., the PlayStation 3 has outsold the Xbox 360 considerably in January.According to the gadget website, T3, a rumor has been brewing that the folks at Sony are looking to wow the console market by redesigning the PS3. The new version would be lighter, slimmer, and sleeker.
If this proves to be true, then it looks like Sony will be taking a page out of the Apple playbook. A better looking PS3 would truly make it a viable BluRay player and multimedia entertainment device for every household.
